Hi, I’m Louisa. I'm a storyteller, coach, and longtime product leader, and the creator of Any Job Can Be a Climate Job.
I started the podcast during my own journey into climate work. I’d spent 20 years building digital products, leading teams, and coaching professionals across industries, but I hit a point where I wanted my work to contribute more directly to the climate crisis.
That question, “How can I use the skills I already have to make a difference?” kept coming up, not just for me, but for people around me. There’s a saying in the climate world that “any job can be a climate job,” but I didn’t see many people showing how. So I set out to find the people doing it and share their stories.
My path into this started at Terra.do, where I spent time learning the climate problem space alongside scientists, founders, and policy people. What I kept hearing - from them and from the guests I was meeting - was that stories move people in ways that data alone can’t. That landed for me.
Twenty years of product leadership taught me that you don’t need a title to create change. You need influence, clarity, and a willingness to go first. That’s true in product teams and it’s true in climate work. Career-switching doesn’t scale - but acting from where you already are does. That’s the thesis. That’s why every guest, and every job, matters.
Every episode explores the real choices, ripple effects, and behind-the-scenes systems that make everyday climate work possible, often in unexpected roles, industries, and moments.
This show is grounded in the same work I do as a coach and strategist: helping people connect the dots, see the bigger picture, and take action with clarity. I bring that lens to each conversation, with the goal of sparking a grassroots shift in how people, and companies, do business in a changing world.
I believe ripples turn into waves. This podcast is my way of helping more of them start.
